Hanoi capital is located on the banks of the Red River with tranquil Hoan Kiem Lake at its heart, Hanoi is the capital of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. North of the lake are the bustling streets of the Old Quarter, each street named after the trade that used to take place there. Sightseeing with a Local Guide; water puppets performance; visit Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, Ho Chi Minh Museum, Presidential Palace, and Temple of Literature, take a cyclo ride through the Old Quarter. Tam Coc comes to travelers as Halong Bay on land, which is on the rice paddies. Tam Coc has huge rock formation jutting out of rice fields. Tam Coc means “Three Caves”. Bich Dong is the most second beautiful pagoda of Vietnam, after Perfume Pagoda. It is a couple of kilometers north of Tam Coc. The Lower Pagoda is located at the foot of the outcrop from which it is a climb of about 100 steps to the Middle pagoda, then a shorter way to the Upper pagoda. Inside each cave temple, looming statues and the smoke of burning incense create a holy atmosphere. Sapa is situated in the country’s northwest at an altitude of 1,600 meters. In the early 20th century the French took advantage of Sapa’s cool climate, developing it into a summer retreat from the heat and humidity of Hanoi. Today, Sapa town still retains its European feel, largely due to the French architecture and gardens and today is a popular destination due to its beautiful scenery and colorful ethnic people. Sapa town is reached via a winding 40km road from the town of Lao Cai. The drive provides a taste of what is to come as the road winds its way up through lush rice-terraced valleys and breath-taking scenery passing several different minority villages along the way. Halong Bay (Vịnh Hạ Long, literally: “descending dragon bay”) is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and a popular travel destination, located in Quang Ninh province, Vietnam. Halong Bay has an area of around 1,553 km2, including 1,960–2,000 islets, most of which are limestone. Visitors have constantly marveled at Halong Bay natural beauty. The tiny islands are dotted with innumerable beaches and caves created by the wind and the waves that make a excellent backdrop for swimming or just lazing about on the boat deck..
