HANOI COOKING CLASS

“Hanoi Cooking Class from 9.00- 12.00/ or 15.00- 18.00”

At 9.00/or 15.00, our tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in the old quarter and drive 5 minutes to “Hanoi Cooking Class” where the owner and his family live in a villa with 600 Sq- m2, includes playground for kids to play shuttlecock kicking, badminton, Chinese chess, mini golf and scenic view dining place at Red River.

The hosts will warmly welcome you and introduce their members, lives. Tour guide then will teach you some simple phrases “local language” in 30 minutes, it is very important to help you get shopping skills and spending the currency “VND” with the friendly sellers.

You then will start cycling (or walking) to the local market only 5 minutes, It’s great chance to buy local things by yourself and experience a variety of foods from all the groceries such as: herbs, spices, vegetables, meats, fishes, fruits which are so fresh. All things bring you very close to the simple life (herbs and spices are a very important part of authentic Vietnamese food), you will have fun time to communicate and use body language with locals, incredible and unforgettable memories. Do not forget to take some photos with them.
At 10.00/or 16.00. Complete your shopping, we come back our home to prepare and cook by yourself under the instruction of the tour guide from the beginning to the end, learning how to marinate and to spice will be the most crucial lesson. You will also enjoy decorating dishes with carrot flowers, lemon grass stems, banana leaves and curved chili. The authentic magical sauce mixed from fish sauce, water, sugar, lime, chili, garlic and herbs is very easy to make.

At 12.00/or 18.00, enjoy your meal at the ideal dining place with wonderful view of Red River and Eiffel bridge, was built in 1902 by the French architect Gustave Eiffel.

At 13.00/or 19.00, our tour guide will transfer you back your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter and give you recipe if you want, see you again!

Hanoi Cooking Class are offered every day in the morning and afternoon. Hanoi Cooking Class are an interactive and fun way to learn new cooking skills and experience the tastes and textures of Vietnamese cuisine.

You will prepare dishes under the guidance of experienced chefs at your own work station and each workshop will conclude with tasting the food you have prepared, accompanied by local beer or wine, in our comfortable dining area.
All guests will receive detailed recipe cards and a certificate to take home at the end of the class.

This tour can be organized as joining group or private and cost in USD per person
